Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

Gender equality, also known as sex egender egalitarianismsexual equality or equality of the genders, refers to the view that men and women should receive equal treatment, and should not be discriminated against based on gender, unless there is a sound biological reason for different treatment. This is the objective of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which seeks to create equality in law and in social situations, such as in democratic activities and securing equal pay for equal work.

Men and Women were Created Equal Men are not superior to women, they are equal in every way. Although it is true that society has stereotyped women into traditional roles, this preconceived notion, is totally false. Action to promote the concept of equality in our society needs to be taken. Women have been fighting for equality for many decades. As a result of this battle, some amazing transformations have taken place amongst the female gender. Women have become educated and over the last few decades have started to take active roles and their rightful place in society.  Equality has been a controversial issue ever since time began. Whether it be race, sex,
religion, it has always been an unsettled topic of concern. Equality between men and
women is often brought into society. I think men and women should be treated equal
from all perspectives. Gender is what makes women different from men, but does not
make women incapable of compiling valuable choices. Women and men have the ability to make decisions that will benefit all people in a fair way

My Teacher! My Hero!

My Teacher! My Hero!

Hero! It comes first to our mind that they have an extraordinary powers, strengths, they can fly and etc. But it didn't come to our mind that the people around us are applicable for being a hero. Just like our friends, loved ones, family and also our teacher are applicable for being a hero. Because they can protect us, they can teach us and they can help us to reach our dreams in life.
Being a student in almost 11 years are memorable and unforgettable because of my classmates, friends, and my teachers. But I have 2 teachers that I can’t forget; they are my teacher when I was in grade 6 and  when I was in 2nd year. They are my superhero because they are one of KIND. They are almost the same. They are stunning beautiful teacher and woman. They are lovely teacher as well as a mother. They are my friends and a partner too. They are our teacher, we are there student but they treat us like their own children. Being with them, I feel that I am in heaven. Because they thought me how to value everything. They thought me how to act a responsible student in school. They thought me how to act a responsible youth in our society. They thought me how to act a responsible daughter and teacher to my family. They thought me how to act a responsible person in everything. So, I am thankful that I met them because they change me into a better person.
A hero is somebody who is selfless, who is generous in spirit, who just tries to give back as much as possible and help people. A hero to me is someone who saves people and who really deeply cares.

“Immunation: Arming Science Clubbers with Healthful Defenses Toward National Wellness.”

Immunation: Arming Science Clubbers with Healthful Defenses Toward National Wellness.”

Month of September, we will be celebrating the National Science Club Month. This is mandated in Proclamation 264, which then President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo signed in September 2002.
The group explained the rationale behind the theme,  "It is a play on words on ammunition and immunization. We would like our science clubbers to be armed/ to be immune against diseases through imparting knowledge about disease, how they spread, etc. Our goal is not only the science clubbers that benefit from this knowledge but also their school and communities and thus leading to national wellness." The PSYSC is one of the organizations authorized by Proclamation 264 to implement plans and activities related to the annual celebration of science month.
Working side-by-side with the PSYSC for this endeavor are the following government agencies: Department of Science and Technology, Department of Education, Commission on Higher Education, and the Science Club Advisers’ Association of the Philippines.

My Modern Hero

My Mother, My Hero!

Way back in childhood, I remembered, I did not believe if hero do exists. I did not believe that superman, batman, Spiderman, wonder woman, etc. are existing in this world. But some of us believe that they are existed. Okay, we can say there is a hero like them. But, they can protect you? They can protect the people around you?
As I growing up, I realized that hero do exists in this world, not only in this world but also they do exist in our lives. I’m not referring to batman, superman, etc. instead I’m referring to my lovely mother. She’s my mother, my best friend, my partner, my idol, my inspiration and my greatest hero. She’s my mother because she can do anything to make us a better person, to make us to be a successful in our future. She’s my best friend/partner because she’s always there to listen all my problems. She’s always there if I need a shoulder to lean/cry on. She’s my idol because she’s a good person; she cares for me, for us and for the people around her. She’s my modern hero because she protects us in everything. And she’s my inspiration too, because I want to become like her.
There are so many definitions for being a hero. If you love the people around you, you’re being a hero. Because if you love them, you care for them and you protect them as long as you manage to protect them. So my greatest hero is my mother. She’s my hero and she’s my everything!

Saang sulok man nang mundo
Saan mang parte ng bansa ko
May iba’t iba man tayong dayalekto

Wikang Filipino, ginto mo at hiyas,
Panlahat na wika saan man bumagtas,
Ilaw na maalab sa dilim ay lunas
At lakas patungo sa tuwid na landas!

State Of the Nation Address(SONA)

On July 28, 2014, President Benigno Simeon Aquino III has delivered his fifth time SONA in Batasang Pambansa Complex, Quezon City. He discussed matters regarding the country’s economy, defenses, public works, education, and many more. He also addressed those keen to bring his administration down. Unfortunately, he did not delve deeper into the controversial Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP) that many of the citizens and critiques have been waiting for. The DAP merely received a notable mention with, of course, slight defense.  All of the funds, according to the president, went to the places they are supposed to go. There are new fighter jets, helicopters and a landing ship. There are also new weaponry and arsenal for soldiers and police officers alike. Respondents and relief workers were quick during disaster situations. The education has been widespread all over the country that our natives are now sent to school.
This administration deserves a lot of credit for what it has done for the country. It is now at investment rate, the economy is flourishing, and there are no bloody conflicts or horrendous kidnappings. Plans for road development and improvements, housing, schools, and other infrastructure are underway.
I want to point out the most of the things that Mr. President said in his SONA was positive aspects of his accomplishment but did not say anything about continuing culture of impunity in or country. I can say that Mr. President has somehow helped in improving our country, but a little change if not continued is as good as no change at all. All in all I am very hopeful that PNOYs words will come to and that will be a change and improvement . Even in a step by step process our country will soon rise from poverty. And I will say, in my own opinion that his accomplishment his accomplishment for the past years for being a President are still not enough but we will hope that Philippines will be fame country in your remaining year for neing a President.

Nutrition Month

Kalamidad Paghandaan: Gutom at Malnutrisyon Agapan

Every July, we are celebrating the "Nutrition Month". And this year, the theme is "Kalamidad Paghandaan: Gutom at Malnutrisyon Agapan".
We are celebrating the Nutrition Month because it help us to prevent hunger and malnutrition. It helps all Filipinos to be healthy so that we can live longer in this world. And it help us to be a good in everything.
The theme aims to uphold interventions in addressing the nutrition needs of the Filipinos extending from preparedness response, recovery and rehabilitation phases. It is believed that underpinning nutrition awareness is a great key to better prepare and efficiently respond to Nutrition in every emergencies. The NNC Technical Committee approved this focus considering the impact of emergencies and disasters, natural and human-induced, on the nutritional status of affected population groups. Nutrition emergencies refer to situations in which food security is often severely threatened causing increased risk to malnutrition, illness and death.
